My start in journalism came as a weekend contributor at Jalopnik in 2018, where I soon progressed through the ranks to become a senior editor before joining PlanetF1.com as US Editor in 2024. Beyond my work at PlanetF1.com, I serve as the founder, historian, and host of the āDeadly Passions, Terrible Joysā podcast, which centers on motorsportās forgotten scandals and tragedies.
I served as managing editor at A Girls Guide to Cars and have bylines in The Drive, Road & Track, Donut Media, RACEWKND Magazine, The Road Rat, Business Insider, and Frontstretch. Further, I have contributed work to both Formula E and Red Bull, and have served as co-host of the Donut Racing Show and The Grid Girls podcasts. In 2022, I published āRacing with Rich Energy: How a Rogue Sponsor Took Formula One for a Rideā with co-author Alanis King, which centers on Haas F1ās chaotic title sponsor in 2019. I am a three-time Excellence in Craft award winner courtesy of the Texas Auto Writersā Association.
Born and raised in Michigan, I now live in Texas and share my home with my husband and the feral cats weāve rescued. I graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelorās degree in English literature and honors in creative writing; I also hold mastersā degrees in English literature and creative writing from Arcadia University.
