British GP weather forecast: What will the weather be like at Silverstone?

A warm start to the weekend is set to make way for cooler conditions as the weekend progresses, and potentially even a chance of rain on race day.

Last year’s race was an absolute thriller in changeable conditions, won in emotional fashion by Lewis Hamilton, who took a record ninth home victory in Britain.

After a hot Friday gave way to cooler conditions on Saturday, with Max Verstappen coming through with an epic lap to snatch pole position ahead of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, Sunday’s race is expected to take place in similar conditions to qualifying.
