Teams are out in Barcelona for the first day of testing.

The F1 2026 season creeps ever more closer with teams out in Barcelona for the first joint shakedown of the campaign.

While the official pre-season testing does not begin until next month, teams have arranged a private run around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya given the complexity of the new regulations presented to them.

Of the 11 teams, two – Ferrari and McLaren – have confirmed they will not run on Monday, while Williams won’t be at the track at all this week.

Aston Martin also isn’t expected on Monday, but the team has yet to reveal if it will be in action later in the week.

Although the Barcelona shakedown test runs for five days, the teams are only permitted to be test for three of the five.
